BRIDGE TO KARS STUDENTS FROM HUMANS FIRST CLUB

With the suggestion of Lal YATAĞAN, the daughter of a family of Kars origin, who joined the club this year, under the 'Bridge to the East Project', the youth and educators decided to work with the club about the importance of education and awareness with children in the village schools in Kars.

Humans First club members, Drama Leaders, Anadolu University and Kars Kafkas University lecturers, expert psychologists and training coaches continue to work within the scope of this year's project of Humans First for a week in Kars.

They believe that thanks to an effective communication, the whole society will be interlocked more and that young people will sail to more rooted futures with the sharing of common values.

THEY SET UP A BRIDGE OF HEART FROM AMERICA TO KARS

Lal Yatağan, President of Humans First Youth Club, established by Turkish students in the USA, and board members came to Kars. Meeting with students in Selim and Susuz districts, Yatağan and the youth engaged in educational activities. 7 volunteers, who gave self-confidence, drama education, English lessons, played games with elementary school students. Young people who served local meals gave information about primary school students about Alzhaimer disease.

Humans First Youth Club, which was founded by Gönül Ceylin Şener who went to education in the USA, brought many young people from China, India and America under its roof. Humans First Club has organized many events in America and decided to expand its activities in Turkey. Lal Yatağan from Kars, who became the chairman of the club after Gönül Ceylin Şener, set out from America with her friends to organize activities in her hometown. Along with President Lal Yatağan, Gönül Ceylin Şener, Selim İyidirli, Belçim Kahrıman, Özge Mant, Ata Öztürk, Aleyna Baki and Neva Karakuzu reached Kars after a long journey.

Lal Yatağan and other club members participated in a series of activities with the students at the Susuz district, İncesu village, Selim district Celal Kahraman Girls Dormitory, Selim District Yaylacık Village Yaylacık Celal Kahraman Primary School in Kars, where they came under the 'Bridge to the East Project'. Club members who taught primary school students how to gain self-confidence first taught English with games. 7 guests, who played games with students studying in the schools in the village, drew haunts with music. Young people, who served locally-friendly meals, also gave primary school students information about Alzhaimer disease awareness.

HUMANS FIRST CLUB PRESENTED AN INDUSTRIAL DISHWASHER TO THE  SUSUZ 75. YIL                                        İNCESU KÖYÜ  İMKB BOARDING DISTRICT MIDDLE SCHOOL

Humans First Club, chaired by Lal Yatağan, carries out awareness raising activities in education that prioritizes human values.

Humans First Club founded by students going to high school education to America from Turkey and  bringing together many young people from America, Turkey, China and India.  Humans First Club tells the necessity of touching all people with love and draws attention to this awareness in the events organized.

 “Bridge to the East Project” organized by Lal Yatağan in June 2019, in Selim and Susuz districts of Kars, with the participation of Gönül Ceylin Şener, Aleyna Baki, Selim İyidirli, Belçim Kahrıman, Özge Mant, Ata Öztürk and Neva Karakuzu. The club did many activities for a week.

In this project supported by the participation of academicians from Eskişehir University and professionals from Istanbul, Lal Yatağan and other participants took part in activities that will help Kars students develop their self-confidence.

Humans First Club volunteers transfer their knowledge in drama and music to Kars students as well as English lessons with games.

In the events, students were trained by academicians on career choice, stress management, children's rights and self-confidence development. Students were made aware of Alzheimer's disease by informing about Alzheimer's disease

After these events, Humans First Club collected donations at various events for the dishwasher that the school refectory needed, and presented a dishwasher to the school for this need.

Humans First Club, under the chairmanship of Lal Yatağan, aims to expand its activities in the coming periods and contribute more to society and individuals.

On behalf of the teachers and students of Susuz 75. Yıl İncesu Köyü İMKB Boarding District Middle School, Akif Yahşi who is school principal, thanking the members of the Humans First Club and president, Lal Yatağan, said that such supports are very important and that the continuation of the aid will contribute significantly.
